Protect your surfaces from extreme heat
We've manufactured a range of heat resistant plumbers mats for over 35 years, supplying a number of large brands. Our soldering mats range in thickness, flexibility and temperature to suit a variety of use cases.
With three layers, these mats offer the ultimate protection. While it is still not recommended to apply direct flame to the mat, as this may reduce its lifespan, tests have shown that direct flame reaching temperatures up to 550 degrees for an extended period can prevent excessive heat from reaching the surface below.
Manufactured in our Essex factory, these Plumbers Soldering/Brazing Mats resist temperatures up to 600ºC without posing any hazards associated with asbestos materials.
Constructed with High-Temperature Graphited Cloth and a Wipe-Clean White Silica back, and filled with high-temperature body-soluble material, these mats are proudly made in the UK.
Shipping on our plumbers mats is Free. Order before midday on a working day and we will send out same day tracked, and you should have it within 2 to 3 working days.
Next Working Day delivery is also available for an additional fee.

Solder mats are designed to protect surfaces from deflected heat surrounding a soldering operation.
Avoid direct flame contact to mat as this will reduce the mat life.
Avoid flame contact to stitched edges.
Avoid unnecessary flexing after use for short period.
It is advisable to ventilate enclosed spaces when in use
The solder mats life is determined by heat intensity and concentration on a given area. Therefore, should a mat surface glow red at any point of flame contact, we suggest repositioning the mat allowing unheated areas to be used. Use both sides of mat to prolong life.
