Alutex® Twisted Yarn (1100°C)
Twisted yarn is produced from a number of yarns, twisted together. The diameter of the rope is determined by the number and thickness of the yarns used.
TWISTED ALUTEX® YARN is a soft, resilient product and can be enclosed in wire mesh or Alutex® webbing to make gaskets and other seals. When the rope is coated with graphite, an increase in lubricity results.
Chemical properties
TWISTED ALUTEX® YARN exhibits excellent chemical stability resisting attack from organic agents, water and hot acids (except HF).
Availability
TWISTED ALUTEX® YARN is available in the following diameter sizes: 3 - 50 mm.

• Door seals for stoves and ovens • Door seals for coke furnaces (steel industry) • Thermal Insulation of electrical wiring • With addition braiding: seals of inspection doors • With special impregnation: gastight seal of boiler sections • Wrapping around pipes (thermal insulation)

RETURNS
If your product is damaged or has any issues, we will do a return. We require you to first send us a picture showing the damage and upon inspection, we will tell you whether it fits our criteria for return. If approved we will ask you to send the product back to our Office in Laindon, Essex. Once received we will send you a brand new product at no cost to you.
REFUNDS (IF APPLICABLE)
Under circumstances where we made a mistake we will make a refund. This will be reviewed on a case by case basis. If a refund is approved, you will be issued a full refund subject to the product being untouched.
