Glass Plaited Packing (550°C)
Glass Plaited Packing is produced from various types of yarn and can be supplied in round, square or rectangular section.
Glass Plaited Packing is a high strength product with low compressibility and is especially recommended for heavy duty applications. When the packing is coated with graphite, an increase in lubricity results.
Glass Plaited Packing is made from texturized, continuous E-Glass fibre filaments up to a maximum of 9 microns. These fibres cause considerably less irritation of the skin than the coarser fibres.
Chemical Properties
Glass Plaited Packing packing exhibits excellent chemical stability resisting attack from most corrosive agents. Exceptions are hydrofluoric acids and phosphoric acids and concentrated alkalies. No water of hydration is present. Excellent die-electrical strength.
Availability
Glass Plaited Packing packing is available in the following diameter sizes : 6-50 mm, section sizes : 6 x 6 - 50 x 50 mm. Other dimensions and rectangular sizes available on request. All E-Glass products are also available in a black version which is made by a colourfast lubricant.

Static seals in (steam) boilers and (coke) furnaces • Kiln car seals • Seals in heat exchangers • Seals between filter elements • Wrapping of exhausts • Gamasco has facilities to apply the protective braiding directly on the flexible products

RETURNS
If your product is damaged or has any issues, we will do a return. We require you to first send us a picture showing the damage and upon inspection, we will tell you whether it fits our criteria for return. If approved we will ask you to send the product back to our Office in Laindon, Essex. Once received we will send you a brand new product at no cost to you.
REFUNDS (IF APPLICABLE)
Under circumstances where we made a mistake we will make a refund. This will be reviewed on a case by case basis. If a refund is approved, you will be issued a full refund subject to the product being untouched.
